The main issues of the conference: 1. History and evolution of views on ethics and aesthetics. The art and culture of behavior. The connection of the culture and morality with the economy and politics. Modern views on social, cultural and moral behavior of the youth in the world. Reforms in Russia and their influence on life goals and behavior standards of Russian youth. 2. The peculiarities of the youth behavior in everyday life (their attitude towards the adults, women and each other, style of their behavior, etc.) Westernization of Russian youth, its positive and negative aspects. 3. The ethics of relations in management. 4. The role of educational system including pre-school institutions, schools, high schools in the upbringing of the youth. 5. The role of women (mother, teacher) and society in the upbringing of the kids and youth. 6. Parents and children: the problem of generations gap. 7. The civil position of the Mass Media and its responsibility for moral, patriotic, social and cultural behavior of the youth. 8. The interrelation of the art and the culture of behavior. 9. The development of sport and physical culture the key to moral and physical health of nation. 10. Taking care of moral and cultural development of the youth is one of the main political and economic goals of citys power branches. |

Those who are willing to participate in the conference need to send theses of their reports and application till March 15, 2004. In application, please, indicate your full name (last name, first name and fathers name), place of work (studying), name of your report, recommendation from your professor (for students only); your address, phone/fax number, e-mail. The most interesting reports will be presented on the conference and their theses will be published. Abstracts should be send in one copy (1-2 pages long): printed version and floppy disk 3,5A, Word 97, Times New Roman,12, interval between the lines 1, margins: upper 2,0 sm, lower 2,0 sm, left 3 sm, right 1 sm, on the upper right indicate your full name, position, degree, full name of educational institution (place of work), name of the city. Participants from abroad need to pay for invitation, stay in hotel-type hostels of St.Petersburg State University of Economy and Finance located in the center of the city, arrangement and cultural program expenses 500 USD. The official language of the conference is Russian. For translation students with excellent knowledge of foreign languages (English, German, French, Spanish) will be available. For invitation arrangements foreign participants need to post us a letter with personal information (full name, date of birth, place of work, address) and abstracts of reports till March 15, 2004. The invitation to the conference will be sent as soon as we receive your application, summary and money order. |
